One must be aware first of her own skin in order to have a skin care that will suit her perfectly.

Basically there are three types of skin: oily, dry and normal.

But having oil in the skin is not bad. The skin needs the oil in order to keep and maintain the moisture in the skin. It can in fact slow down the aging process of the skin and help avoid early appearance of wrinkles. But too much oil can also lead to some problems. Oil could clog the pores of the skin thus the breakout of acne and blackheads. It can also cause the build up of dry skin right on the surface of the skin. Proper skin care requires the use of products that do not contain unnecessary oil that may worsen the oily skin problems.

Dry Skin

Proper Perfect Skin Care :  Dry skin is a common skin type. Dry skin is caused by the loss of moisture of the skin. These can be caused by many factors including one’s lifestyle also. Too much exposure to cold and wind could lead in the depletion of water in the skin. Genetics has something to do with dry skin also. Caucasians and fair skinned persons are more likely to have a dry skin. People who love long hot showers and having warm baths are susceptible to having a dry skin also. The best skin care in treating dry skin is to avoid them. One can also use a moisturizer that could help lock in the moisture in the skin.

Normal Skin

Proper Perfect Skin Care :  The third skin type is the normal skin. This is the ideal one. A normal skin is neither dry nor oily. But often a person does not have a normal skin all throughout her life. The food they eat could contribute in making their skin oily. Or the wrong type of soap could lead to a dry skin. If one has a normal skin already she should protect it always from evolving to other skin types. Skin care for normal skin includes balanced diet, discernment with the use of skin products and avoidance of too much exposure to wind and cold.

However tired a person may get, she should never sleep with her make up on. This is a cardinal rule in skin care. She should always make an effort to clean her face before going to sleep. Pimples and blackheads are normal reactions of the skin if one forgets to clean it first at night. She should always read the labels of every skin products she is going to buy. Bearing in mind her skin type will help her choose which product is best suited for her.
